this is the same monastery that recently came under attack when kurti’s police forces (as literally always full-gear-wearing, automatic-rifle-carrying, armored-vehicle-driving) barged their tanks into the monastery because it was sheltering pilgrims from central serbia, and opened fire on serbian civilians. shortly before that said ‘police’ force came into one of the last remaining serbian enclaves and opened fire on serbian villagers. one albanian cop and at least 4 serbian civilians were killed.
it is the same monastery whose monks went through kosovo during the war to find survivors in the ruins and offer them shelter, no matter which ethnicity, risking their own lives by hiding rroma, serbs, albanians and others in their monastery from both the yugoslav army and albanian kla. which apparently even biden has acknowledged by now, after all these years of him calling all serbs “illiterate primitives” and supporting bombing serbian civilian targets in yugoslavia with depleted uranium.
the same monastery that has been suffering violent attacks for centuries, first under the ottoman empire, now by extremists of kosovo’s ethnic majority, shelling the monastery and urinating on the walls.
